The Secretary of Education reminded parents that from 20121 govern completely free education, from preschool (transition) through grade 11 in all official educational establishments.
The Mayor, Franco Valencia Luz Pie dad and Municipal Secretary of Education, Alvaro Velasquez Arias announced that this week will strengthen the strategy “School to the Child” to try to incorporate the local education system to four thousand children who have not yet formalized enrollment in elementary and secondary schools.
The Secretary of Education reminded parents that this time were abolished tuition fees, stationery and other social concepts that children have access to classrooms and expanded coverage of school restaurant with improvements in nutritional lunch, in order to facilitate the academic success of students.
Velasquez Arias explained that other programs to facilitate the entry of children to educational institutions is the acceleration of -10 Special Classrooms today-, allowing grade promotion in cases of students aged over average and develop a methodology of inclusion.
